Competition Cheerleading Update: New this season our competition squads will practice Monday and Tuesday of each week beginning August 4. Our goal is to provide more quality instruction and practice time to help our cheerleaders advance their skills!

Sideline Squad Update: The rumor is true! Due West is now allowing girls to cheer up a maximum of 3 years for their siblings! You spoke and we listened! In addition to this great change we have also restructured our sideline practice schedule. Sideline squads will now practice each Thursday beginning July 31. Sideline practice will subside in October to allow our competition girls more preparation time for their upcoming competitions. ***Cheerleading practice is not affected by the change to the 5-7 year old football practice time. All cheer age groups will continue to practice from 6:30-8:30***

Cheer Clinic: We are very excited to announce our Cheerleading Clinic to be held at Boots Ward Recreation Center on Saturday August 2 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and hosted by the Georgia Tech Stinger Cheerleaders!! The cost will be $45 per cheerleader and will include lunch. A group of our cheerleaders attended an off site clinic The Stingers hosted in February and we were thoroughly impressed at what these ladies had to offer our little Hoyas!

Retired Cheer Uniforms: All of the retired cheer uniforms are on sale for $25.00 each. They will be available during registration so be sure to get yours before they're gone!

MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Due West Football and Cheerleading Association is to provide a positive, fun and safe program for the youth of our great community. We feel that the attitude, actions, and decision of our coaches, parents and board members should exemplify this mission. We at Due West strive to create an environment to mentor our young men and women by teaching them respect, responsibility, leadership, self esteem and aid in building their self confidence. We believe that the lessons learned here will remain with our youth far beyond their days with our program.

The Due West Hoyas junior football program partnered with the Harrison Hoyas in 2003 in order to provide greater continuity for our players as they move through the system.
