GO HOYA CHEERLEADERS!

Registration Information:

Again this year, we will be offering cheerleaders the option of cheering sidelines only or adding the optional competition package.  With the added competition package, the girls will compete in 3 competitions at the end of October into the middle of November.  With competition, the fee is higher to cover the additional items needed for competition such as gym space for continued practices, music and choreography, additional uniform pieces, competition fees, etc...  Due to DWFA being a recreational football league, ALL cheerleaders are required to cheer at football games.  Cheerleaders that do not participate in sideline cheering will not be allowed to compete.  This is stated in the DWFA by-laws.

Mascot cheering will also be available again this season for cheerleaders between the ages of 3 & 5 prior to August 1st 2010.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the Due West Football and Cheerleading Association is to provide a positive, fun and safe program for the youth of our great community. We feel that the attitude, actions, and decision of our coaches, parents and board members should exemplify this mission. We at Due West strive to create an environment to mentor our young men and women by teaching them respect, responsibility, leadership, self esteem and aid in building their self confidence. We believe that the lessons learned here will remain with our youth far beyond their days with our program.

The Due West Hoyas junior football program partnered with the Harrison Hoyas in 2003 in order to provide greater continuity for our players as they move through the system.
